The role

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our Operations team in an established family-owned business in Leeds. Wilson Power Solutions are a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of ultimate low loss amorphous transformer technology. Key Responsibilities

Testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site.
In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels
Testing of LV cabinets and control devices
Complete protection modifications

Skills, knowledge & experience

Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company
Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential.
Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential
The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential
Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel
Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
Good communication skills
Flexibility to assist in other departments when required

Salary & benefits

Salary negotiable dependent on experience

25 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays
