Our Timeline

Explore our heritage

Established in 1946 by entrepreneur Richard Wilson, the business started out providing refurbished motors. Now managed by the third Generation, we have grown from a small family business to become one of the industry’s most trusted manufacturers of power and distribution transformers. Today, Wilson Power Solutions employs more than 160 staff members in the UK and 500 in India and has successfully delivered on vital electrical infrastructure projects.
