Erika Wilson

Erika joined the family business in 1997, training on the shopfloor, and became the sole owner and managing director in 2021. She has led the growth of the business, turning it into a major player in transformer manufacturing in the UK. Erika is the President of BEAMA and a renowned public speaker.

Hari has 25 years of experience in the transformer industry covering the design & development of transformer products in addition to the manufacturing processes & operations. Hari joined WPS in 2006 and has led the development of the engineering department and the establishment of WPS India factory.

Ed has worked within the T&D manufacturing industry for over 30 years, initially apprenticeship trained in MV switchgear, he worked within LV prior to joining WPS in 2019. Ed has led sales & commercial teams for over 12 years, worked in UK and Export markets and is passionate about developing teams.

Before joining WPS in 2019, Greig worked for major switchgear & transformer manufacturers. Throughout his 26 years of experience, Greig supported landmark projects for blue-chip companies. Greig now heads the sales & tendering functions and has managed to exceed a £100M sales milestone in 23/24.

Stephen Duce

A CIMA-qualified accountant with almost 35 years' of experience at WPS. Steve started with us as a bookkeeper, as 1 of only 12 staff members. Since then, he’s been integral to the business’ growth, building and managing the finance function, maintaining cash flows, and producing management accounts.

Raju holds a postgraduate in engineering specialising in Power Electronics and Industrial Drives. He has 22 years of extensive experience in transformer design including 15 years leading engineering departments in India & the Middle East. Raju joined WPS in 2023 to head the engineering team.

Apprentice trained and professional accredited with 35 years' experience across multiple disciplines. An Engineer dedicated to his craft with an emphasis on process efficiency. Worked across Europe, North America and Canada as a Lead Process Engineer before joining Wilson Power Solutions in 2016.

Johnny made a start within the industry over 15 years ago, carrying out an apprenticeship in MV Switchgear. He moved to the transformer industry over 10 years ago and obtained an electrical engineering degree whilst continuing to gain experience. He joined WPS in 2024 as Head of Site Services.

Jake Young

Jake began as an Apprentice in Electrical Installation before joining WPS in 2015. He progressed through various roles becoming Head of Operations in 2025. With a CMI Level 3 in Management, Jake leads production improvements while overseeing logistics, inventory management and in-process quality.

The Aftersales & Warranty Engineer will be responsible for providing a single, professional point of contact for customers for all aftersales and warranty-related issues, addressing customer concerns with a strong focus on quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Site Services

Aftersales and Warranty Site Engineer

You will provide urgent on call warranty & aftersales support for distribution & power transformers across the UK & Europe including responding to client faults & preparing detailed technical reports.

Electrical Engineer/Technician

As part of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for producing the arrangements for products & working within the Engineering Team’s procedural framework to ensure design requirements are met.

Electrical Testing Engineer

Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer; key responsibilities will be the testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the allocation of work to the team ensuring production schedules, KPI’s and OTIF are met.

Site Engineer (Power & Distribution Transformers)

Focussing mainly on new transformer and package substation installation on site including fitting, wiring and test of both distribution and power transformers.

Sustainability

Sustainability Coordinator

As a Sustainability Co-ordinator, you will report to the Head of Marketing & Sustainability to contribute to carbon measurement and ESG across Wilson Power Solutions.
