WPS listed on the Financial Times UK’s Fastest Growing Companies

We are proud to share that the Financial Times has once again named Wilson Power Solutions in the UK's Fastest-Growing Companies 2027 list, ranking us 116th in the FT150. The list is compiled by the Financial Times in collaboration with research firm Statista and recognises 150 UK companies with the highest revenue growth between 2022 and 2025. Over that period, we had an absolute revenue growth of 141%, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 34.15%.

This is our second Financial Times growth ranking of 2026, following our place at 253rd in the FT1000 Europe's Fastest-Growing Companies in March. The FT150 is open only to independent, UK-headquartered businesses whose growth has come primarily from their own organic trading, with a minimum growth rate of 24%. Entrants need revenue of at least £100,000 in 2022 and £1.5 million in 2025, and every figure is signed off by the company's leadership before Statista ranks the list by CAGR.

Our growth over these 3 years has been driven by rising demand for transformers across battery energy storage, renewable energy and data centre projects in the UK and Europe. Our workforce increased two and a half-fold, growing from 268 people in 2022 to 679 in 2025. Since then, WPS has continued to grow, and we employ over 900 staff across the group.
