Cannon Street Station

An incredible job of replacing an old transformer with a 1500kVA Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Transformer, which found its home on the roof of London’s Cannon Street Station. Its journey to get there was indeed a challenge! Firstly, the road needed to be closed off with diversions put in place before an enormous yellow crane manoeuvred the transformer into its new position, accompanying another Wilson Power Solutions transformer we had previously supplied. With losses compliant with Tier 2 Ecodesign regulation, the two transformers can now get to work delivering exceptional carbon & energy savings to the end user as opposed to the old inefficient transformers. Our long-term partner, RJ Power, perfectly managed this job with the tricky off-loading and installation.
