Forbo Flooring is a global manufacturer of high-quality flooring solutions, specialising in linoleum, vinyl, carpet tiles, and entrance systems for commercial and residential use. Headquartered in Switzerland, Forbo operates worldwide, offering durable, sustainable, and design-focused flooring products for sectors such as healthcare, education, offices, retail, and transportation.

One of Forbo's signature products is Marmoleum, a natural linoleum flooring made from renewable materials like linseed oil, wood flour, and jute. It is known for its eco-friendliness, durability, and antibacterial properties, making it a popular choice for hospitals and schools. Forbo also produces Flotex, a unique textile flooring that combines the comfort of a carpet with the resilience of vinyl.

Forbo has a significant presence in the UK, with manufacturing and distribution facilities supplying flooring solutions for a variety of applications. Their products are known for high performance, aesthetic appeal, and environmental responsibility, making them a trusted choice for architects, designers, and facility managers worldwide.

The company places a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation, with many of its products being low-emission, recyclable, and made from natural materials. Forbo Flooring is part of Forbo Group, which also manufactures adhesives and conveyor belts, further expanding its expertise in material science.

From the materials they use for their products to their supply chain, that environmental ethos also extends to their energy supply. Forbo has installed six of our transformers in their Ripley location, five of which are Wilson e2 Super Low Loss Amorphous® Transformers. The energy savings made from the amorphous technology reduce costs and energy wastage and help cut operational carbon footprint.
