The power transformers provided are designed by Wilson Power Solutions and approved by UKPN. The cooling offers a Continuous Emergency Rating (CER), which allows one transformer to support the full load of the site in the case of planned maintenance or failure.
The transformers were carefully assembled and tested on-site, with components such as radiators, conservators, cable boxes, and marshalling boxes reassembled and fitted. Pre-commissioning megger and pressure tests ensured optimal performance and readiness for integration into the community’s utility infrastructure. These transformers are critical to providing reliable electrical connections to power homes, businesses, and communal facilities, supporting the goals of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
