London Bus Depot

Go-Ahead London is the largest bus operator in Greater London, providing services under contract to Transport for London (TfL). It operates approximately 157 bus routes, primarily in South and Central London, with some extending into North and East London. The company's fleet comprises around 2,270 vehicles, including 540 electric buses, making it the largest operator of electric buses in London. River Road Bus Garage in Barking operates electric buses that require transformers for the HV network upgrade to facilitate high-power EV charging

We are passionate about Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure, from our EV chargers at our Leeds HQ to supporting the infrastructure necessary to build a decarbonised future on our roads. We delivered a 2000kVA Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformer to the bus depot on River Road to support the integration of an EV charging project to make a positive contribution to cleaner air for the local residents. In the project developed by CX Energy, they received the transformer closed coupled with RN2d RMU.
