Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, Marshalls installed a 740kW solar array on the factory roof at St Ives, projected to reduce mains grid electricity consumption by approximately 17% per year.

Scope of Work	2MVA Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformer

In 2021, Marshalls commenced construction of a new £20 million dual block plant at the St Ives site. This investment aimed to increase manufacturing capacity by 200% and enhance product innovation. We provided the site with a 2000kVA Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformer. This hermetically sealed transformer prevents air, moisture, and contaminants from entering the transformer’s internal components. The transformer was close-coupled with an RN2d ring main unit switchgear for additional protection.
