Netherlands Data Centre

Expanding beyond domestic projects, Wilson Power Solutions continues to support global data infrastructure with specialist power solutions for selected international deployments. We supplied transformers to the Global Switch Amsterdam Data Centre Campus, which is located close to the main Dutch cable infrastructure, the financial district, and the city centre.

The seven 3150kVA 10750V/420V KNAN hermetically sealed Wilson T2 EcoTrans® Transformers are key to offering redundancy for the data centre. They help with load balancing while ensuring a reliable power supply in the case of scheduled maintenance or unexpected failures. These transformers and others provided for data centres are designed with a K-factor rating to accommodate harmonics generated from non-linear loads.

Scope of Work	Seven 3150kVA 10750/420V KNAN Hermetically Sealed Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Transformers

The seven Wilson T2 EcoTrans® Transformers were supplied with HV de-energised tap changers, oil level indicators, winding temperature indicators (WTI), oil temperature indicators, and pressure relief devices. The KNAN transformers are filled with MIDEL synthetic ester with a higher flashpoint and fire point to improve the site's resilience and safety.
