The project was delivered by Galliford Try as Principal Contractor, bringing together specialists across civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering to ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable solution for this critical live site.
With increased process capacity came higher electrical loading, requiring reinforcement of the existing infrastructure with new HV and LV equipment to accommodate new loads for power distribution across the treatment works.
To support this, we supplied an 800kVA 11kV/433V Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformer, with ancillaries wired into a marshalling box to integrate seamlessly with the wider control systems. The Wilson T2 provides energy-efficient, reliable operation while minimising on-site civil works and simplifying installation.
