Scarborough Hospital

Scarborough Hospital, located on Woodlands Drive in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is part of the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the Trust's second-largest facility, featuring an Emergency Department (A&E) and offering a range of acute medical and surgical services, including trauma and intensive care, to East Coast residents and visitors.

As a critical healthcare facility in North England, Scarborough Hospital requires a robust and efficient power distribution system to support its essential medical equipment and ongoing infrastructure development. Wilson Power Solutions supplied seven Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformers to meet these needs, ensuring a reliable power supply for this vital institution.

The installation of the transformers is part of a broader effort to modernise the hospital's electrical infrastructure. Years after the installation, these transformers continue to operate in excellent condition, providing uninterrupted electricity distribution to support critical hospital operations.
