Scope of Work

Two 1250kVA 11kV/433V Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformers with CN2 Circuit Breakers

As part of an electrical infrastructure upgrade, Wilson Power Solutions supplied two 1250kVA 11kV/433V Wilson T2 Ecotrans® Distribution Transformers as replacements. Each unit features a high-voltage de-energised tap changer and prismatic oil level indicator, close-coupled with Schneider CN2 circuit breakers. The transformers were delivered and offloaded on-site using a HIAB, with the installation managed by electrical contractor RJ Power.

Replacing ageing transformers with modern, energy-efficient alternatives not only enhances reliability and performance but also reduces ongoing energy losses and operational costs. For a building like The Ark, where sustainability and occupant wellbeing are central to its design, maintaining efficient power infrastructure is key to supporting future demand, lowering carbon emissions, and ensuring long-term resilience.
