Recognising our environmental responsibilities

At Wilson Power Solutions we take a responsible interest in the environmental impact of our business activities. Our products and services are designed to contribute to the improvement of our customers’ power distribution systems whilst reducing unnecessary energy wastage wherever possible.

In May 2008 we pledged to make our UK operations carbon neutral and entered a carbon neutrality commitment with The Carbon Neutral Company. With changes in legislation and increasing concern over the measurability of carbon offsets we have since decided to no longer renew this and invest available funds in improving our site’s energetic profile instead. In August 2015 we commissioned a dedicated 65kW Solar PV system designed to power our Westland Works site and make us self-sufficient.

We have developed a certified business management system incorporating ISO9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Our drive is to continually improve the quality and sustainability of our day to day operations whilst achieving the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety. We understand that our working environment has a long term impact on the surrounding area, and we believe that by adhering to a high standard we can help retain a safe and sustainable working practice.
